The community of Thermal, southeast of Indio, is home to one of Riverside County’s largest airports, the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport. Necessary infrastructure – a new Sheriff’s station, roads, streets, sewers and a new fire station – is being constructed as part of the county’s $90 million investment in the community.
